Ted’s quote:

Ted is a former physics teacher, medical researcher, instrument marker, government bureaucrat, and is now enjoying an active retirement. He got into woodworking when he responded to an advertisement for a “Martin guitar kit” to make his own Martin guitar. Building the kit into a guitar began a journey into the world of musical instruments and woodworking tools. Ted has been working with wood in his own small workshop now? since then? for the past 25 years.
In that time he has made a beautiful range of stringed instruments: guitars, mandolins, Irish bouzouki’s, and recently Irish tenor banjos. He also leads a traditional Irish music session every Tuesday night at the Welsh Dragon pub, so knows how to play his much-loved creations too! The gradual process of learning how to use tools and becoming more and more skilled has given Ted and immense and fulfilling sense of satisfaction .
